It was a beautiful morning for softball in Central Park, Santa Clara. Sting was at bat first, and didn't waste any time to score. Tatiana Jellinek started with a single, then Lila Simpson hit a single of her own and scored Tatiana for the first run of the game. The lead did not last as the Fire & Ice scored 4 runs during their offensive strike. At the end of the first inning the score was 4-1 Cloverdale.

The score stayed the same until the 3rd inning when Sting tied the game. Raleigh Williams had a lead off single, and then she scored on a triple by Miya Keilin. Tatiana Jellinek hit a single and scored Miya. Bonnie Coulman hit a triple and scored Tatiana for the tying run. The score was now 4-4.

Sting took the lead in the top of the 4th inning. Skye Salas hit a double and eventually scored on a wild pitch, and Sting took the lead 5-4. However, the lead did not last very long. Cloverdale scored two more runs and won the game 5-6. It was a heartbreaker.

Simpson. Bonnie Coulman hit a RBI single scoring Tatiana for Sting's first run. Sting would not score another run until the 4th inning when Miya Keilin hit a double and scored on a sacrifice out by Isabel Lavrov; but by that time the Blaze had scored 9 runs and would win the game 2-9.
