| Solano Stroll - ABGSL will be participating in the Solono Avenue Stroll on Sunday, September 14, 2008. The Solano Stroll is lots of fun, and is a great outreach tool for the league, informing other girls in our commuity about the league. This year's parade theme is "Stroll for Health" so come join us to march down Solano Avenue and help promote our league and the healthy pursuit of running bases, fielding grounders, and chasing down fly balls. | Fall Clinics - Starts Sunday, September 21st, the week after the Solano Stroll! These clinics are funded by the fantastic fundraising of all the girls at our last Bat-A-Que. The clinics will be run by our coach consultant Angie Goularte and her staff of softball experts. James Kenny field will be the location of the all the clinics. The 2008 Bat-A-Que --Our 5th annual big party/fundraiser celebrating our 25th anniversary year. The whole family had plenty of fun at Fielding Field on May 3rd. Parade Photos! | Recreational Season |

Our Spring Recreational Season is underway. Our Spring season has started, serving girls in the Albany/Berkeley area in grades 1-9. For information about the league, go here to learn what happens at each grade level, and here for general information about the recreational season. The season calendar for all league events is downloadable here. Registration for our 2009 season will begin in November 2008. Practice/Game schedules for your team are available from your team manager, or you can find your team's schedule in your division: Younger / Middle / Older . |

| Sting!! Sting is ABGSL's summer/fall competitive softball program. All girls who play in our Spring recreational season are eligible to try out for the program (in May). Complete details on the program, including tryout and application information, can be found on our Sting page. |
