| Andronico's Golden Eagles vs. The Autumn Press Cardinals, and vs. Jane Hammond Events Funky Monkeys (split squad games) |
Cardinals' Sadie Cooper had four hits in four at bats, Sara Ng smashed the ball up the middle to knock in a run, and Talia Appel-Bernstein crushed the ball during one at bat . Sonya Love showed great hustle, fielding all three out in one inning. The Golden Eagles' Hannah Lane-Goldstein had solid hits in each inning including one to the outfield in the second inning. Georgia Thomsen, who also got in some solid hits, snapped up a grounder at first base and tagged up for an out. In the third inning, Hannah also grabbed a grounder at first for a fine out. Abigail Cain, playing third base in the first inning and pitcher in the third, made some great throws to first. Against the Funky Monkeys, Golden Eagles' Uma Navarro got in some first-rate fielding at first base and on the mound, along with solid singles in both innings. Cleo Tufts-Lockhart provided fine defensive work and solid hitting, including a pop fly single in the second inning. For the Cardinals, against the Funky Monkeys, Ainsley Walker had a hit and scored a run, as did Zadie Jivan. Mia Loretto led off one inning with a sharp grounder to third, and showed her hustle on defense by chasing down a rocket to the outfield. Eliana Rosen-Bloom got a key hit as well. |

| Five Little Monkeys Black Diamonds 20, On the Beam Red Hot Hurricanes 9 |
Both teams showed solid hitting and great fielding. In the top of the first,the Diamonds' Amelia Galbraith fielded a grounder at second base and threw it to Sierra Jimenez at first base for the out. This was followed by Amari Coffey's scooping up a ball at third base and throwing it to catcher Erin Shurtz who stretched for the out. At the bottom of the first, Hurricanes' catcher Lily Dawson made an outstanding catch at home to get the runner out in a squeeze play. The Hurricanes started the second inning with three consecutive batters driving in runners from second base. This rally was started by Sarah Isen, then continued by Mollie Sequeira and Lily. Good defensive plays in this half of the inning include Diamonds shortstop Maeve Gallagher who ran to third base to get an out, third baseman Anna Reed who scooped up a ball coming towards her and tagged the base for an out, and outfielder Hope Fa-Kaji, who fielded a long ball and threw it all the way to Sierra at first. All of the players from both teams showed strong hitting. Especially noteable were Ella Hass of the Hurricanes and Sierra, Amari, and Hannah Murray of the Diamonds. |

The Lucky Charms and the Cheetahs were well-matched throughout all three innings. The Lucky Charms led off with a series of strong singles in the first inning, including two infield hits by Anisa Armistead-Brown, one of which brought home a runner, and powerful RBI hits by Alison Radkey and Eliza Murley. The first-inning Lucky Charms defense was anchored by Griffin Campbell, playing shortstop, who made a perfect toss to Radkey for an out at first base. Cheetah Miya Keilin had the big hit of the game, smacking a two-run double in the second inning. Lucky Charm Armistead-Brown matched her in the third inning, also bringing two runners home with a sharply hit double-bagger. On defense, Lucky Charm Radkey racked up the outs: covering second base, she snagged a throw from Armistead-Brown for a third out; she also made an unassisted out at home plate. Cheetahs' Raechel Cohen and Annie Stonebarger demonstrated excellent defensive teamwork when Cohen, at pitcher, threw to Stonebarger at first base for a textbook out. In the second half of the game, blasts from Lucky Charms batters Radkey, Murley and Campbell all brought in runners and helped lead the team to victory. |

| Vivian Lopez Chocolatiers 6, Bark Beagles 1 |
The Chocolatiers scored in the first inning on singles by Maria Barkhurst and Annie Ward. Beagle Kelia Human made an impressive out at first base to end the inning. Human then hit a strong single, as did Beagles Iona Tangri and Catey Hoehn, with Hoehn’s single bringing Human home on an RBI. Chocolatier Bonnie Coulman hit a nice double in the second inning, which was also marked by impressive third base play by Beagle Human who stopped two hard line drives. The final inning saw fine pitching by Beagle Sadie Murray, and a quick-acting throw by Beagle Amanda Klopp to Hoehn at second base for a forced out. Chocolatier Ward continued to play well offensively, and scored again after a strong double and stolen base. |
| Friedman Brueggemeyer Tree Frogs 8, San Marco Associates Killer Bunnies 4 |
The Killer Bunnies had an impressive all-around performance from Laisani Waqa; she did an excellent job catching, grabbing numerous difficult pitches and making two strong throws to third on steals; she also singled and stole third. Lila Simpson pitched two effective innings, with four strikeouts; she also hit two singles and made an excellent play at third. Rebecca Miller had an impressive pitching debut, throwing many strikes and keeping the Killer Bunnies in the game. While playing shortstop in the third inning, Graham Griffin made a couple of excellent catches, and tagged-out two runners at second. The next inning, while backing up in right field, Sydnie Hersh tagged-out two batters at first base; Sydnie also hit a double and stole third. However, the Tree Frogs were in the lead throughout the game and broke it open in the last inning. Imani Hiller-Bateau had an impressive pitching performance with 6 strikeouts; she hit 2 doubles and a triple and had 2 RBIs. Tayah Blanck hit 3 singles, had 2 RBIs, and stole third. Yasmine Alston had a single and an RBI, and stole third. Miren Gruhler stopped a fast grounder, holding the batter to a single; while pitching, she struck out a batter and caught a pop fly; and she also hit a double. Finally, Julia "Tiger" Shebek doubled and tripled and had an RBI. |
| Adobe Systems Screamers 3, Ibble Wibble Wackies Devil Duckies 2 |
In this close game, the Duckies drew first blood. Hana Minsky of the Duckies led off the game with a smash single to left field. She then scored the first run when Gemma Hunt hustled to first base to beat out an infield hit. The Duckies' hustle-and-score style then repeated itself when Alex Arriola sprinted to first base and was called safe on a close play allowing a second run to score. The Duckies' solid defense kept the Systems scoreless in the bottom of the first inning and was exemplified by an unassisted put out at first base by Julia Cooke and very solid work behind the plate by Emma Gadberry. But the Duckies lead quacked in the bottom of the second as the Screamers cried fowl on their lead and turned up the offensive volume. Megan Foley of the Screamers scored first for the Screamers on an RBI by Roxanne Wiblin. Ariana Nevarez scored on an RBI by Sarah Quady, and then Angel Gonzales belted in Roxy. Although the Duckies ended it then, that was all the Screamers needed. The lead held for the final two innings despite strong swings by the irrepressible Duckies. |

The Phantoms broke open a tight game with the Zonta Fried Chicken Tacos in the fourth inning, on hits from Anna Supton, Nicole Nordahl and Maya Dilworth. The Zonta offense was led by Annie Wanless, aided by Julie Moorad, Bethany Cloherty and Nora Killian. Zonta pitcher Cloherty and catcher Reyna Fa-Kaji teamed for a textbook force-out at home plate. Great catches in the infield were made by Phantoms Annie Smith and Kendal Kirkman. |
